Villa Sonia is situated on the Beachroad which is connecting Stalis and Malia (distance to the old village of Malia is 2,5km, to the center of Stalis is 1,5km).

Although we have a central position being very close to supermarkets and other shops like souveniers, tavernas, travel agencies and jewelleres our hotelrooms are very quiet and inviting for rest and relaxation.

Distances: only 150m from the next bus stop both directions towards Heraklion (west) and Ag. Nikolaos (east). Approximately in 30m you reach the "Happy Train Station" which offers different sightseeing tours through the village daily.

Almost in the same distance there are public phones, a pharmacy and a doctor. Opposite our hotel you may rent tenniscourts (Ikaros Village, Kernos).

Beach and Pool

Our guests may use the pools from the Sunset and Paradise hotels in our close neighbourhood (150m). Or you can take a walk of about 2 minutes through a small avenue to the beach where you find snackbars and watersports.

Rooms

Our rooms are functional with radio, safe, shower, toilet and balcony. Air-conditioning and fridge on request.

Setting

Villa Sonia is a family business with 18 rooms, reception and cafeteria, divided into two buildings.
In the backyard many customers so far enjoyed the huge palmtrees and took lots of photos.

Breakfast
Continental breakfast and daily varying fresh fruits, cold meat, cheese, eggs, yoghurt and honey.

Afternoon
We offer daily different cakes and coffee.

Half-board
If you want to book half-board you may eat in one taverna nearby (100m). There you have the choice between different starters and you may choose between two menu's and a delicious dessert.

Bar / Cafeteria
Our Cocktailbar "Edelweiss" is open daily. You may have an apetitizer or a nightcap or try our numerous different cocktails or icecreams.
